What’s provided?

Food is included for the entire weekend. Abundant wifi internet and power. If you’re camping with us, this year the campsite is separate to the hackathon but nearby; fully powered with showers and ammenities.

What do I need to bring?

Laptop + charger + internet dongle/tethering for the bus trip. Clothes, towel, toothbrush, deodorant. Money for any incidentals. Camping? Bring a tent & sleeping gear. If you don’t already have a tent they’re pretty cheap at Kmart.

What will the weekend involve?

This year is an experiment. So the weekend will be somewhat like a regular hackathon competition where you make a project/startup from scratch, but mixed with a lot more fun, adventure, camping and shenanigans.

Do I have to catch the bus or camp?

Nope, but it’s cheaper ($95 total) for the entry ticket + bus + campsite booking. The bus will stop at Sydney, Wollongong and Batemans Bay. Feel free to drive down or arrange alternative accommodation.
